Who We Are

Made of Design is a professional graphic and digital design studio based in Denver, Colorado. We opened in 2010, but our experience goes back even farther, giving us the skill set it takes to tackle a broad scope of projects that reflect many different industries and communication platforms.

Our passion is partnering with marketing teams and entrepreneurs to advance their business brand identity, marketing strategy and corporate communications, while creating unparalleled user experiences in the process.

Sami Wallingford

PRINCIPAL

Sami Wallingford is the owner and creative director at Made of Design. Throughout her professional design career that spans more than 20 years, she has worked both in Brazil and the U.S., acquiring a richly diverse background.

Her career started in publishing and pre-press, which equipped her with foundational print production expertise that she still leans on today.

Sami moved to Denver in 2001, bringing her talent along. She continued education in graphic and web design, while amplifying her experience by working under full-time employment positions for several years, which provided a strong foundation and springboard for launching Made of Design in 2010.

By creatively collaborating with agencies, in-house marketing teams and entrepreneurs from multiple industries through Made of Design, Sami has established solid connections and expanded her skills even further through myriad graphic design projects from concept to cross-media delivery.

Her creativity, expertise, dedication and attention to detail are valuable tools to successfully accomplish any type of project while developing positive, long-lasting relationships.

Sami graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications from the University of São Paulo State, Brazil.
